Kindness
What if...everybody in the world holds the door open for the succeeding person behind them? What if...everybody in the world smiled? What if...everybody in the world had the characteristic of kindness? A couple of days back, I went shopping with my family to Costco. Because it was a Saturday, the whole parking lot was packed with cars, and so we waited in the car. I looked up at the towering building (okay, I'm not minuscule, but I'm technically tall for my age) and my eyes fell upon an old lady. She was trying, with all the strength she could muster, to lift a package enclosed with a walking stick. I continued watching her struggle lifting it. All of a sudden, a kind young man went and picked up the package for her, leaving all of his items in a shopping unattended. He took it all the way to her parking space, which was very, very, far away. I smiled and thought to myself, there is still some kindness in this world. Another time when I was young, a lady who was possibly drunk came up to me while I was selling cub scout cookies and offered me cigarettes. I immediately refused, but she kept on trying to convince that it was good for health. A man walking out of a store saw this, and he yelled at her to go away, or he would call the cops. He even later bought a couple of boxes from me. Cha-ching! 😁 That man was so kind as to leave his work to step up for another person. Additionally, even though some people are kind to others, they may even mistreat their own relatives. For example, kids sometimes yell at their parents for not doing something, or perhaps embarrassing them. The truth is, however, parents love you. They want to do their best for us. If all of us could just be kind for one single day, the world would be a better place.

I agree. Kindness is an invaluable trait that one should try to bring out as often as possible.
